Ernesto Gonzalez was born in Mexico City in 1975. He studied Photography at the Universidad Iberoamericana in the city of Puebla and in 1996 he
moved to New York City. Once in NYC he resumed his studies at the International Center of Photography. From 2001 and to 2004 he worked as first assistant for photographer Enrique Badulescu. Ernesto has also worked closely with photographer Kelly Klein.

His work has appeared in international publications like Harper’s Bazaar Latinamerica, Rouge in Paris, Plus magazine in Moscow, A magazine in Italy, Neo2 in Spain, Amica in Germany, S magazine and Costume in Denmark, TRACE in New York and British Elle. He has shot for New York designers Hansengross, AS FOUR, FORM and Saltalamaccia. His work has also been showcased in Berlin’s Kodex fashion guide and has been exhibited both in Mexico and the US. In Mexico Ernesto is a contributor to ELLE, Celeste and Baby, baby, baby.
